2-3 DP AI

No symptoms or anything to speak of...yet. Trying to stay positive, without getting my hopes up too much. Would love to have some beginner's luck, but we realize that we're just starting out and we have another 5 guaranteed cycles. I've been checking out baby gear online for the last couple of days.

Fertility.Friend hasn't given me cross hairs yet, but my temps are way up (almost half a degree) so it's just a matter of time. I'm thinking I O'd very early on the 19th.

Hope everyone out in TTC world get their BFP's soon. Keep sending those sticky thoughts my way!

Maybe Baby

i'm officially in my 1st TWW!!! DP and i ended up insemming on wednesday night which was CD16. ALL the fertile signs were there...except a positive OPK. since OPKs and i dont have the best track record, we went with our gut. we de-frosted the swimteam and went to town. the next day i kept feeling like we jumped the gun. we were supposed to insem yesterday evening. at the last minute i decided i wanted to wait. today i had some pretty bad twinges on my left side for a couple of hours. so i went to the bathroom, took out a smiley OPK that i just KNEW was going to be negative, and waited. Then i saw the prettiest smile in the whole world!!! Its the first time i have ever gotten a positive on any clear.blue product. so i sent a pic to amz! as soon as i got home from work we started round 2. unfortunately, amz couldnt stick around cuz she has that family thing this weekend 3 hours away! so here i am...looking much like a turtle....for at least the next 15 minutes. we will be testing sometime between the 28th and the 30th if AF doesnt show. please send sticky thoughts my way!

Finally, what I wrote about in my very 1st entry on this blog...is happening.

Insem #1 looks like it'll be tonight!!! Normally O around CD19-21, but it seems like the Clomid is gonna push my O date up a few days. Insem #2 about 24 hours after the first.

Bad Timing

Ugh. So my favorite aunt is coming into town to visit this month. She'll be staying with my mom (thank goodness) but she'll want to hang out all weekend. The same weekend, Amz' family is throwing a big get together and she's EXPECTED to attend. What weekend is this you ask? The one smack-dab in the middle of our proposed insem dates!!! I dont want/need this stress.

We have babyjuice!

12 awesome vials of babyjuice are ours. We got our 2nd choice donor...out of a list of 8. WooHoo! I think he's a good fit for us. 2 of those lovely little vials of babymakers are going to be shipped to us on the 14th of April! I hope that date works out...I'd hate to keep the dewar longer than a week...but I wanted to try to cover as many possible days since I'm starting the clomid tomorrow. =) I'm stoked.
